Kafue -2 The itinerary and GPS

This has been a very long day, starting with an interview with Radio Phoenix in Lusaka (89.5 in Zambia and http://tunein.com/radio/Radio-Phoenix-895-s86519/ for the online streaming), then shopping for the last few items and picking up the helmet, speedometer and gps from Michela in Kanyama. I have still to understand well how this gps works, it is very different from the one normally used in a car, the itineraries are calculated only on a straight line, but on the other hand it measures the altitude, tells when sun and moon rise and set, there is even a ‘hunting and fishing’ option of which I hope I will never feel the need …
For those who do not know the itinerary yet, or have not seen our website http://www.sport2build.org/ , the departure will be from Chongwe, more precisely from the Palace of Senior Chieftness Nkhomesha Mukamambo II and the arrival will be in London, for the Paralympics on the way I will pass through Eastern Province in Zambia, entering Malawi more or less at the level of Lundazi. I will then head North towards Mbeya in Tanzania, and turn East until Arusha and the Kilimanjaro. From there I will cross the Kenyan border in Namanga, I will continue North to Nairobi, and the most feared leg Isiolo-Marsabit-Moyale at the border with Ethiopia. In Ethiopia I will go up again North towards Yabelo, Hagere Maryam, Hawassa, Addis Abeba, Debre Markos, Gondar crossing the Ethiopia-Sudan border in Metema. Then I will proceed towards Khartoum passing Al Qadarif, Wad Madani and Rufaa, from Khartoum I will continue towards Korti, Dongola, Abri to reach Wadi Halfa where I will relax on the ferry to Aswan in Egypt. Luxor, Asyut, Beni Suef, Cairo, Alexandria will be the last stages before going back to breath the air of Europe.
Whoever would like to join me to cycle one or more stages of the itinerary is welcome, just as is well accepted any logistic advice on itinerary, accommodation or anything else.
